You have no time limit – anywhere from 1 day to 100 years! That is the beauty of mobile storage. You decide how long you need the container. Load and unload on your schedule and at your pace. Check with your local homeowners association or local government to see if your property is subject to any restrictions or permitting requirements.
Yes. It is typically determined by your zip code and milage from our yard. The delivery fee helps to cover our transportation costs (driver, fuel, truck maintenance etc.). Please reach out with your service address and we'd be glad to provide a delivery quote. Also note that we're typically able to discount delivery charges on longer term rentals (6 months+).
Most people don’t come close to our weight limits. We have the strongest containers in the business. Our 8’x16’ and 8’x20’ units can hold up to 10,000 pounds onsite, and approximately 6,500 pounds if being transported while loaded. If you're concerned about exceeding the weight limits - give us a call to discuss your specific use.
We will collect your credit card information at the time of booking; however, your card will not be charged until the day of delivery. Your credit card information will be kept on file and your card will be charged on the monthly anniversary date of your rental. If you are a contractor or a business customer, please contact us about alternative billing arrangements.
We will do our best to accommodate specific time requests. Remember, for your convenience, you do not have to be present at the time of pickup or drop off. If you do not plan to be present, we will need specific instructions regarding placement and orientation of the container.
Most jurisdictions allow containers on the street but check with your locality or Homeowners Association (HOA) to determine if you need a special permit or for other restrictions. Getting a permit is your responsibility and can typically be done quickly and easily online and for a nominal fee. You are liable for any fines or fees incurred due to the placement of the unit in your designated location and you authorize us to charge your credit card to cover such fines or fees, if necessary. You will also need to make sure that there are no vehicles blocking the parking spaces on the street when we come to deliver the container and pick it up.

Usually it is not a problem. We pride ourselves in getting containers into places that our competition can’t. But please, notify us of the obstacle/concern at the time of booking and we will confirm that we can drop a container at your location. We specialize in precision delivery and can almost always find a solution.
You are responsible for the container and any damage to it during your rental period. A typical container replacement cost is approximately $6,500, when you factor in loss of use, shipping, labor, and administrative fees. We do offer a Container Damage Waiver for a nominal monthly cost. This insures the container while in your posession and keeps you off the hook for any damage.
Mobile storage, also known as mobile self-storage or portable storage, is a super-easy alternative to traditional self-storage. No renting a big truck, scheduling a specific day and time to pack, and then driving through traffic in an unfamiliar vehicle to an unfamiliar location and then unloading. While the containers come in various sizes and store the same amount or more than a unit at a self-storage facility, the units are brought to you and picked up on your schedule.
All deliveries are typically made between the hours of 7 am and 3 pm, Monday through Saturday. If you have a very tight space, we recommend opting for a 16' container. Our containers measure 8' wide and 8' tall. If you have a tight spot or immovable obstacles - please let us know at the time of booking. We can discuss the safest placement of your container.
With our precision delivery system, your container remains level when being loaded and unloaded. Also, unlike some other companies, our containers have tiedown rings, so you've got plenty of options for securing your belongings. However - contents can (and often do) shift during transportation. It is solely your responsibility to make sure your contents are secured and ready for safe transportation.
